Our challenge
Synechron is seeking to hire a Project Manager/Business Analyst to join our team in Piscataway, NJ. This candidate will have Deep understanding of Project Management Methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall. The candidate should have Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage project risks and issues.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Piscataway, NJ is $85k - $95k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities :
• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, identifying key milestones, tasks, and resources needed.
• Coordinate with software developers and other IT professionals to deliver solutions that meet business requirements.
• Document detailed functional and technical requirements, ensuring they align with business objectives.
• Manage project risks and issues, develop mitigation plans and escalating as appropriate.
• Communicate project status, progress, and issues to executive stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Promote and enforce Agile Scrum methodologies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Work closely with our business partners to understand their business and system problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements.
• Work with Technology teams and management to identify solutions that enable the organization to achieve its project goals.
• Responsible for providing various project management visibility and control measures and reports as needed and communicating to project team and stakeholders. Requirements:
You are:
• Work experience working with large-scale project management with an understanding of project management tools, processes, risk mitigation, communications and strategic planning.
• Must have practical experience with managing technology projects with experience that includes public-facing website migration or development is preferred.
• Strong project management skills and ability to work with multiple cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholder groups.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to manage project risks and issues.
• Deep understanding of Project Management Methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall.
• Experience in executive communication and ability to influence decision-making at all levels of the organization.
• Experience developing project schedules, managing team resources, creating work breakdown structures, estimating size and effort for new development projects, as well as develop detailed requirements for these projects.
• Ability to prioritize effectively, think independently and problem solve to ensure all projects are completed in an effective and timely manner
• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is required (or related experience); major in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field preferred It would be great if you also had:
